*The dormant fee will apply to accounts with a balance less than $100.00, and have been inactive for longer than 2 years. The dormant fee does not apply to accounts with a loan, CD, IRA, or an active VISA account. The dormant fee does not apply to minor accounts.
To avoid the dormant fee: maintain a balance greater than $100.00, or deposit/withdraw funds from the account annually, or have a loan, CD, IRA, or active VISA card.
Escheatment Fee**	Effective 6/30/25	$100.00 per closed account
**The escheatment fee is charged to a dormant account that is closed and sent to the Minnesota Department of Commerce Unclaimed Property after 5 years of inactivity.
To avoid the escheatment fee: deposit/withdraw funds from your account every five years, or have a loan, CD, IRA, or active VISA card.
